This Tuesday, November 18, Paramount Home Entertainment will release the remastered edition of STAR TREK: The Original Series: Season Three [Remastered] on DVD (Suggested Retail Price - $84.99).

Presented on 7 discs, the remastered edition offers improved audio and video quality, as seen in the previous multi-disc DVD sets of both Season One and Season Two. Unfortunately, there is still no indication of when Blu-ray Hi-Def editions will also be released, but we fully expect the entire series on Blu-ray in the future (perhaps in 2009).

Also being released on the same day is STAR TREK: The Original Series: The COMPLETE 1st - 3rd Seasons [Remastered] (SRP $249.98) - with the entire series in a 25-disc DVD collection! Note: the Season One in this collection is now on DVD only (no longer paired with HD DVD as a "combo edition" set).

Series Synopsis:
